Brand new top of the line equipment. If you’re looking for the highest possible quality, this is the spot. I rented 3 days and twice, the kites I used still had the tags on them. They get 2 orders each year so the kites they rent get used for maximum of about 2-3 months and then they go for sale. The staff are super friendly though at times there could be more since it gets super busy at this spot. The prices are perhaps higher than other spots but you do get what you pay for and if you want top notch equipment, this is the spot. It’s all duotone and they’ve got all the latest kites, bars, boards. The beach itself is a terrific launching spot but again, it gets really busy. If you’re comfortable, just go far out and most folks are too interested in staying by the beach. Another nice aspect is they’re pretty responsive on WhatsApp which is great if you need a live update on the wind conditions.

I recently had the pleasure of enrolling in Ion kite school in Tarifa for a kite surfing course and I can confidently say that it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the team at the school displayed a remarkable level of professionalism and enthusiasm that truly made my time there exceptional. The instructors were not only highly skilled but also incredibly patient and attentive. As a beginner, I was initially quite nervous, but their step-by-step guidance and constant encouragement put me at ease. They tailored their teaching approach to suit individual learning styles, which I found to be extremely effective in helping me grasp the basics of kite surfing.

Excellent instructors, great atmosphere! The whole team is very professional, welcoming and fun. It creates a warm, relaxed atmosphere. I did a beginner’s 10-hr windsurf course and decided to stay on and add some extra lessons. The instructors were so patient and encouraging – and I really made progress in these few days. Great center situated at the nice beach of Valdevaqueros. Quality gear, passionate team support and great atmosphere. I rented full set of kite gears (including wetsuit, harness and helmet) with ION Club Tarifa as I left all my gears at home (All I brought was an impact vest). The premium rental included all the SLS series of Duotone’s kites and boards. I used mostly Rebel SLS which are 2022 edition and are well maintained. Each kite/board of the same model has a few so I was able to freely switch depending on the wind condition. The staffs are super helpful. As a first time visiter to Tarifa, they helped me nevigate around and explained what about different spots. Thanks Krystina, Juan, Jirí, Jilly, Stephano, Matteo, Nana who helped me while I was there. Great experience, highly recommended.

The Ion Club took me from knowing absolutely nothing about kiting to riding around in 4 lessons! I had an absolute blast during the lessons. Kiting can be mentally and physically challenging so the positivity and enthusiasm that my instructor like Nana brought to the process was critical! I had so much fun that I tried to book with Nana again on my last day of the stay, but the wind wouldn’t cooperate. If you’re on the fence about trying kiting definitely take a lesson with the Ion Club!!!

I can’t express more how happy I am that accidentally found this school just by walk-in. From the first moment until the end of classes over a week, it was a mixture of pure fun and professionalism. Great equipment, flexible with schedule, teachers available in different languages. I was lucky to have Javi as a teacher. Wonderful approach to teaching, patient, structured, funny. All of it resulted in very quick progress. Can’t wait to come back to master kitesurfing further.

Loved it, staff is friendly and very helpful. We were renting 6days straight and they have multiday discounts, which also includes rescue card as a bonus. I had to use that when I accidentally chicken looped in the sea Staff would not just help in renting but also come by to inflate, untangle lines, launch, give some tips. I feel I’ve learned
